Okay, so perhaps this isn't the most aesthetic of mods, but what can I say? In an effort to reduce weight toward the tail on my dinky Gaui Hurricane 200, the only thing I could remove was the tail fin. My first attempt seems to be working pretty darn well, despite its overly complicated use of molded polymers with an attachment fitting and... I'm sorry I don't have enough BS to finish that one... So I used a zip tie, I'm not embarrassed to admit it! With a helicopter as small as the Gaui, you really don't need much to keep the tail off the ground, and the tail fin doesn't serve much other purpose. When I put the Futaba GY 520 gyro on the model, I accidently made it a bit tail heavy because of the decrease in weight, despite the fact the gyro... ::Read More>>
