Small update: I've got the X50 flybarless conversion kit on it's way, and I'm going to use the CGY750 with it. I'll post up some photos once I get it going!

Alrighty! Time for an update... the FBL head is on and its AWESOME. I flew it all weekend and couldn't get enough of it! The CGY750 is by far the best 3 axis gyro I've used, no tweaking and it's already feeling better than the ones I've flown in the past. Stay tuned for the review, in the mean time here is a quick pic

Chris - thanks for the quality review and pics. Extremely nice pics! When I was watching the maiden flight vid, it sounded a bit like the gov was letting go of the throttle and overrevving when you unloaded the engine. It was really screaming to me. Was this the case?

Hey Rob,

Glad you enjoyed the pics! Which vid are you referring to? It is possible that I had the governor turned off while I was fine tuning the throttle curves. It does scream though...

It was your first maiden vid I saw, actually viewed over on RC Groups, I believe.
