Looks like we are getting another half decent day tomorrow as far as the weather, so I'm topping up the batts in advance! I tell ya, if that Hitec X4 charger had an AC adapter, I'd be on it like mud on a mountain bike!

Well, it didn't go exactly as planned

I couldn't get my heli to spool up, and realized that I had changed some settings on the ESC and then forgot to recalibrate the throttle. Not having calibrated the throttle before, nor having the instructions on how to do it, I had to call it a day and head home as I didn't want to risk running up the rotor unexpectedly.

After consulting the web, I now have the ESC prgrammed correctly, set the governor mode, and switched out to a higher toothed pinion. I'm good to go again, but of course its raining....

I hear ya CSpaced. I'm waiting for my order from Tower Hobbies to come in so I can get one of my nitro planes up. With 2 good Sundays of weather, I'm betting things turn sour for the rest of the season once my order arrives.

I have been using this http://www.meanwell.com/search/nes-350/default.htm model no nes-350-15 its accurate cheap & comes with a 2 year warrenty what else you can ask for ?

Thats not a bad PSU, at almost 30 amps it looks like it would do the trick!
