Default NEW! Axe 100 Brushless, plus Night Version!

New from Heli-Max, a brushless version of the Axe 100 - the Axe 100 SS, plus a night flying version with night blades - the Axe 100 SSL!

Axe 100 SS delivers brushless power for 3D aerobatics!

Heli-Max has combined Axe 100 CP agility with an aggressive brushless power system to create the Axe 100 SS (Super Sport Brushless). It has the same performance-proven flybarless collective-pitch head and TAGS three-axis gyro found in the CP, but expands the performance possibilities with a number of updates. A 14,750kV brushless outrunner motor and brushless 10A controller boost power. Other enhancements include an extended tail boom as well as a new frame and new rotor blades. It’s perfect for the pilot who wants to push the limits — and it’s available as an all-in-one RTF with radio or in a Tx-R (Transmitter-Ready) version.

■ Brushless-powered for mastering the most demanding stunts.
■ Reinforced, molded airframe to accommodate brushless motor power.
■ Features an individual controller and servos to maximize performance and simplify maintenance.
■ Extended tail boom for improved tail authority.
■ Dependable, responsive motor-driven tail rotor
■ Ideal for indoor and outdoor flying.

LEDs and brushless power make the new Axe 100 SSL (Super Sport Brushless LED) a brilliant aerobat in appearance and performance. Seven high-intensity LEDs make it easy to track in the most crowded skies. Lights on the top and bottom of the blades and on the tail are color-coded to provide unmistakable keys to heli orientation and position, day or night. Both are likely to change frequently and instantly, as pilots experiment with the added power and proven agility of its outrunner motor and flybarless, collective-pitch head. The Axe 100 SSL will be available as a convenient, all-inclusive RTF and in a Tx-R (Transmitter-Ready) version.

■ Super-bright LEDs built into the blades and tail run off power from the main battery. No extra battery required.
■ Lightweight, high-capacity 400mAh LiPo battery included.
■ Hidden wiring and connectors offer easy hookup and a clean, untouched look.
■ Brushless outrunner motor and controller deliver the power for the most radical maneuvers.
■ Beefed-up molded airframe to withstand the stresses of brushless power.
■ Individual controller and servos maximize performance and simplify replacement.
■ Extended tail boom for improved tail authority.
■ Dependable, responsive motor-driven tail rotor
■ Ideal for indoor and outdoor flying.

Judging from the video, the brushed tail doesn't seem to care.
