Synergy E5 Pics
Well Chris I am posting as promised. These are the finished photos of my Synergy E5 (stretched). I flew it 6 times stock then stretched it to a 600 this weekend since the weather was so bad. I managed a hover flight in the 600 configuration in the driveway yesterday.
Specs: Synergy E5 with a Synergy E6 boom, Torque tube and boom supports. Scorpion 4025-650 Motor Castle HV80 ESC 10S 3300mah Sky Lipos (PRC6 connectors) 1300mah Lipo for receiver/servo power running through a prefect regulator. Savox SC-1257's on Cyclic JR DS8900g Tail Servo Helicommand HCS-Extreme FBL Unit Note that the connectors in the photo are not the ones I am currently running. I switched over to PRC6's. The conversion with the E6 Boom can be done stock or by cutting off the boom by 60mm. I am currently building a sctock E5 in the 6S configuration using standard TRex550 motor and electronics. Oh and the E5 6s will be flybarless via an MSH Ikon. Just picked one up to try. Can't beat the price! I will report on that also:-)

Nice post.RC helicopters are becoming very popular these days for kids and adults. Remote control helicopters are surely fun stuff, for people of all age groups

Nice looking bird you built.
helen7 they sure are. Since the advent of the mCPx and Nano I am finding videos with youngsters flying acrobatic flight in the living room. These days commercials for helis at Radio Shack are coming on the TV. Finally our little hobby is exploding! |
