Just got my new Velineon system for my Stampede. This time it's all water proof and I can't wait to get back to the 50mph range. The heck with the cold, I'm gonna install it and go bash for awhile. A 20c 5000mah 11.1 lipo ought to give me a few minutes of run time. Ye Haaaaaa!!!!:D:D

My speed control got wet before the waterproof esc's came out so it burnt up. I decided since I had a Rio EP with a brushed motor and kind of slow, I decided to put in the 3500 motor with a 120a seaking speed control. The water jackets fit perfectly on everything and it doesn't even get close to warm. I tried the 11.1v lipo and even with the trim tabs down it just flew out of the water almost 7 feet. I removed the trim tabs and placed a 7.4 5amh battery in the front and one in the rear so I have 10amps of run time. With the battery in the front it became stable at full throttle and it planes up within a few feet. My brother was supposed to take a long video of it but he had it set so high I got a 18 sec. show of how it went. I wish I didn't have to format my computer so you could catch a glimpse of how fast it gets gone.
