FMS is a great little FREE simulator, for helis and also those other things with two wings :)
There are many models downloadable, the graphics for the models are good, the scenery graphics are "adequate" :) .... not the spiffy photorealistic stuff, but they do the trick.
For a newbie heli pilot (like me) the physics seem believable, though many of the default helis seem to be setup "too easy" (compared to Clearview), but that is a bonus for a new pilot.
The parameters are editable, but not well documented, help is available for that in the FMS forums.
A nice feature is that the "camera" (you the pilot) can be positioned just about anywhere, and it also has a "chase" camera option.
There doesn't seem to be a "global" slow down feature, so I think you have to edit the heli parameters manually, though the included Hughes model is fairly docile, and "easy" to fly.
