I have a X-Cell Gas heli got the BH Hanson 26cc pro engine for it. Need to find time to run in the engine and push it . Ultimately want to own a Vario!

Welcome again!
Lets see some pictures!
With the prices of Glow, gassers seem to be a nice alternative!

If you can't find the time to run it you can ship it to me and I'll be glad to put hours on it for you. :)
I love my Mongoose gasser.
Thanks,
David

I have one that was nearly done till I need all of the electronics quick for another project.
I have a Carbon Predator gasser with Hanson G26 3D Max engine and Hatori tuned muffler.
Some day I will get it in the air. Maybe soon since I only have 4 cases of 30% left.

How do these fly compared to the vibe, rappy, and evo 90's? I have never seen a gasser in the air. just curious to know how they compare.
any thoughts? Steve

The gassers made for 3D can do any maneuver that a 90 can do.
The gassers just do it a little slower because they weigh more.

IMHO gassers serve a different roll. They are definately heavier than 3d machines and react slower which makes scale type flying much more relaxing. And its a good thing because with 20-30 minutes worth of fuel you shouldnt get tired easilly!

Nothing wrong with using a gasser for 3D ;)

I would run three gallons through it at a slightly rich setting. I break in my engines using Lawnboy ashless for 3 gallons than I switch to Amsoil 50:1 and tune for peak power. Others use synthetic from the beginning. I like to get performance a bit quicker so I like going with the non synthetic for a faster break in. Whatever floats your boat I guess. Most manufacturers follow the first method that I use. I wouldn't want to risk not having a ring seat by using Amsoil from the start. Also, watch for carbon and replacing the plug after break in is a good idea.

Hey guys,
Im quite new to heli's. i pretty much don't have any experience with heli's at all. I've jsut been starting to learn on the simulator at the moment. I did not have any heli's untill just recently my father met someone who was looking to sell everythin. Planes heli's the works. I have quite a fleet of heli's now. A couple of them are gassers. Would you guys's be able to give me an idea of what they are if I post some pictures. We are getting into some gassers with quarter scale planes so we have a foot in the door with gas engines. One of the heli's gassers looks similiar to a Zenoa G26. Does Zenoa make heli engines? I will get some pictures ASAP.

Every gas heli I've ever seen was powered by a Zenoah engine.

man, I wish I ran into someone who was selling stuff like that. probably got a deal on it.
Is it true that gassers have a cleaner exhaust than nitro?
