Anyone out there with an EXI heli clone of the TREX 450? let me know what ya'll think of them my friend is wanting to get a good heli at a cheap price and well the EXI is the cheapest and best looking one i found so far.

I don't have one, but I hear good things about them. Supposed to have the same performance as a Trex for a low cost... One of the folks on another forum just got one and he likes it a lot...

I have one And I really Like it Best Money I could have spent Almost all together now.
All T-rex parts compatable Look for it on sale I got mine on the labor day sale for 69.00
Should have bought a Case full. It has metal frames and metal in most critical places it also has a tail case like the metal version but in plastic should work good The only thing is the blades are that Plastic crap but you were going to replace those anyways.

I've got the BlueRay coming today. It is from Xheli and is also a T-Rex 450 clone, only it's RTF+Rx. I've hear good things about it also.

The good thing about Xheli is their pricing and I've had no problems with what I ordered, everything came as advertised and delivered on-time... but don't expect any level of customer service by e-mail or by phone.

The only way to get in touch with them is through their combined forum (with hobbypartz.com) @ rcdiscuss.com. You might want to go to the sight b4 u buy to check out what some other customers are experiencing.

Be fore-warned that what you will see mostly is customers with issues and complaints. I ordered my G2 V2 SE b4 seeing the site and was not impressed with what I read... almost to the point of wanting to cancel my order, but was too late, it had shipped already, plus I couldn't reach anyone to cancel the order!

But like I said, my experiences over the last 4 months, after ordering upgrades, spare parts, and even a 2nd bird a week ago have been positive.

Oh, I'm loving it. Pushing it and my skills. Put it in hard yesterday (see the crash photos thread for a video), but it's rebuilt and flying again already.

Only problem I have with it, is actually with xheli, which is parts delivery is slow, and several bits seem to always be out of stock. Good thing rex parts are a match. ;)

I'm looking forward to more 69 dollar sales to pick up one or two extras.

Yep got me one look's very nice indeed, havent got it together yet, supposed to be better qulity than hk450, only bad thing i've heard is tail is a weak spot?? Looks fairly good to me though !! Than again, i dont plan on flying it to hard either !! But plan on upgrades, very good deal !!!!!!!

My EXI-450 was my Fathersday gift. I need a reciever and maybe another radio. I can't center my servos yet. Stripped it down and loctited everything that needs it as I go, just in case! Quality appears to be excellent for what my daughter gave for it, $39.99 + shipping.

Well guys it has been a total of 14 days, I have over 80 flights with my EXI 450.
I realized that is more flight than most, of you guys get in 3 months.
But, I have been beating the crap out of it.
I have flown it everyday except for two days. Couple of those days I had 10 flights plus. After that I just took it easy on myself. I do have other helicopters to fly and have been working on someone's EXI 500. Plus I build two customer planes.
So I have been busy. Oh yeah, it has rained most of those days.
All in all , I have to say that.
This helicopter has been a great bird to play with and work on.
Only once it has been out of commission.
I destroyed a set of blades, mainshaft and feathering shaft.
Clowning in front of the house.
But this is one of the best deals on the market for a cheap helicopter to beat around and have fun with.

600GT, 450Pro & 700GT Heli's too arrive soon. 11/12/2009
Our HK-600GT all alloy/CF helicopter will be arriving at around the 10th of January. The 450Pro is based on the Align 450 Pro and will be available mid January. Also we have a 700GT helicopter in production now and the expected release date is around April 2010.
We will be introducing a new range of high performance heli motors specifically designed for our 450, 500 and 600 size heli's. Thes have an estimated release date of late February.

My first post here :D
I bought my first heli a AXE 400 not knowing any better, got the hang of hovering it but tor it up twice . I stumbled upon the EXI from Xheli . I bought one and after receiving it I realized what a POS my AXE is, This is by far superior . I have a really cheap set up for my first helicopter and the parts are a lot cheaper too ! It is actually fun to fly. I have had no issues with Xheli , have made many orders from them so far .

You ready for this??? I ordered two at 11.00 a piece i went nuts. I lost every battery I own this winter. I am trying to cycle some and bring them back to life but these sub 40 degree weeks have simply zapped the life out of them. So I have been battery shopping and I thought why the heck not I have a knock off bird why not some knock off batts????:blockhead:
