What do you guys think of these servers on a Belt-CP? Good? Bad?
Figure as I learn and break stuff, I'd rather break something that won't break my wallet...

I'm using SG-90s on a Blackhawk 500 and haven't had any problems. I'm still a beginner and hovering with a little forward flight is about all I do at this point, so I can't tell you how they would work with radical 3D maneuvers, but they have worked very well for me. I've also used the new eSky digital servos on a Compy build and they are working well also. Advanced flyers seem to prefer HS or MG65 servos, but I'm really happy with the Tower Pro or eSky stuff.
Hope this helps,
Bob

They are good servos for the price I have had them on my belt cp I like them a lot but I got a deal on some hitec hs65mg's so this is what I am using now. But the sg90's are a lot better than the stock servos on the belt.

The TP Sg90's are a great servo i have them on my Belt, but after getting my Trex and it haveing the Hitec HS 56-HB's i would go for them but if your worried about cost stick with the TP's

I have SG-90's on my HBK2 right now and they work great. These, along with the Hextronik 5g and 9g servos, are my favorite cheap servos.

I vote for the HS-65MG servos. SG-90's are good for the price and hold up in crashes pretty well (according to one review I've read), but any servos with metal gears (like the HS-65MG) in general will have a very low chance of stripping gears in a crash, while providing plenty of speed and torque. They're pricey at first, but they'll pay for themselves over time with every crash you may have.

I have used both the Esky 8g (stock) servos and the SG-90s in a Belt-CP. I have to say that the stock servos were more precise but they also cost more and strip easier. I would defiantly recommend the SG-90s over the stock servos any day. I was also able run them at 6v for more speed and torque, but do this at your own risk.

I running the futaba s3114 servos I like these servos on my belt cp nylon gears but they seem tough have had a few hard landings and no striped servos yet knock on wood lol. I am running them a 4.7v. and they are not bad on speed faster than the stock esky junk ones that if you look at them wrong the strip. Have a great day all Rick

I didn't know Futaba S3114's fit on the Belt-CP, they're such small servos. I'm currently using them on my King 2. Great servos at a great price.

If I were you, I would get the micro plug versions. I bought the ones that don't have micro plugs and ended up having to change them out with some spare micro plug connectors because they had some weird tab on the side of the connectors. On the other hand, I could have grinded them off to make them work.)
I know another guy who is using the same servos. He's had some nasty crashes, but the 3114's are still working just fine for him.
