The more fuel I get through my Vibe 50, the less I like flying my 600N. Man, is this one well-made helicopter! Anyone else with me? If not, you really need to experience it. I feel sorry for anyone who isn't flying a Vibe 50!

Why is the Vibe better than the 600N?

In my opinion, the Vibe is a much higher quality machine. Don't get me wrong, the 600N flies very well. It's light and nimble. The big difference in flying them are that the Vibe tracks better meaning it pretty much goes right where you point it and keeps going until you tell it to stop. I can do a FF pass with the Vibe and let go of the sticks.....It just keeps going and going with no inputs from me. The 600N also flies nice and straight, but is a bit touchy-er than the Vibe. You're on top of it a bit more despite having slower cyclic. The Vibe flips and rolls like it's on a wire and FAST! You also just feel more connected to the Vibe. It's just something you can't put your finger on, it just feels all-around better. Other Vibe owners will pretty much confirm this....but there's those out there who love their 600N's, too.

Having flown both a number of times, they are both fine helis. I think they fit slightly different flying styles. Me I won't trade in my Vibe anytime soon. If nothing else it doesn't have that horrible high pitch gear whine of the 600N. Seems like the 600N is a little bit lighter and punchier, but the Vibe tracks like it is on rails and just makes you feel great when you are flying it.

The Vibe has every little detail that stands out on other helicopters all rolled into one.
A programmable head, stacked G10 frames with breakaway tabs so canopy doesn't take out the frames, torque tube tail, 3 machined main shaft bearing blocks, fully isolated fuel tank, the governor magnet mounts on the top of the clutch bell so the sensor is on the outside of the frame and stays put when you pull the engine and alignment takes about 20 seconds, low profile very stout gear, painted (white with black windshield) fiberglass canopy, metal head block, swashplate has an adjustment in case it ever gets sloppy, 120 or 140 degree ccpm, servo cutouts already fit 8717s, two point connection on the tail pitch slider, fully enclosed cooling system, 90 size tail rotor hub with thrust bearings, adjustable weight paddles (like the evo), massive auto rotation bearing assembly...all fully explained by a manual that was written by Horizon in perfect English.

I agree I have a Vibe 90 and despite some design flaws that thing flys like its on rails, and I flown both 600N and the vibe 50 they both a great but the 50 just has that little something you cant really put into words It just feels right. Long Live the Vibe Viva La Vibe.
