Gy240 and GY401

I have both gyro and they seems to hold the tail the same way for my flying level(sport with light 3d).

I was wondering what is the difference between both apart from the remote gain capability of the 401 and digital servo.
I noticed the 401 lose it's hold sometime when fast backward flying. I did not try with the 240 yet.

Should they hold the same all other factors equal ?

401 remote gain and remote AVCS setting from transmitter.

240 does not have remote and has single gain setting only controlled from gyro itself

401 is faster than the 240 @ 270 hertz, the 240 is only @ 70 hertz....

Faster respond time to movements then ? Still, a fast servo is in order to follow the Gyro.

I'll keep the 240 for scale, it is working well.
And get another 401 or DS760 for my Swift.

its basically a sensing response time.... Kind of like perception and reaction time.... How long in between the sensing of motion to the digital input for servo out put.
