Guys,
I am having a problem with my CSM Revlock. It seems to make my engine spike at a higher RPM. It does this every 30 seconds or so. I don't know why. When I don't have it engaged it runs fine. Has anybody had an issue like this before.

This is just a shot in the dark, but I've experienced something similar running a GV-1, and it turned out that the one way bearing in the main gear was slipping. It had cracks that were so small you couldn't see them until you removed the bearing and examined it real close. Once the bearing was replaced I didn't have the problem again.

Wow that's an odd one. Have you tached the headspeed upstairs in a stationary hover with and without the governer? To maybe see if the governer is disengaging and that's making the headspeed pop up slightly? The Revlock 10 has saved my behind a few occasions now as it simply doesn't enjoy a lean running motor (And why it's so important you still have proper throttle curves). If the motor goes lean, gets a bubble of air in or whatever the case the revlock will always disengage momentarily. Your problem could be caused by something that could have much more disasterous effects later.
