I saw a couple flying last week and they looked pretty nice. Also the head and tail are freakin works of art.

Yep, it is pretty sweet. Very smooth and stable for a 450

TREXPILOT- you will not be disappointed. I have enjoyed every minute of mine. The build is fast and the quality is unbelievable. I built mine in 2 nights after work and had no problems with the build. The servo layout is better then a Trex, and I believe the quality of the materials throughout the machine is better as well. The only thing I would do differently is check the Beam website for linkage legnths when building. When you order yours get a set of the Thunder power blades too. You wont be disappointed in these at $40 a set. The heli is very smooth but will do anything 3d wise you want. Dont forget when you build one get a build thread going. This forum needs one. If you need any help with the build or setup feel free to contact me!

I went from a Franken-Rex 450SE (highly modded by the previous owner) to the Beam. There just simply is no comparison between the two. The Beam ROCKS!

I as well have a beam and love it. I think it flies way better than my old trex 450 v1 or v2,there is just no comparison.

before the 450 pro the beam was the most locked in 450 i have ever flown. I think its better than the Rave IMO. I like the 450 pro better. But the beam flies better than any previous t rex, furion, sky shark, etc. IMO

Van, what did both heli's end up costing you in the end? The cost of a good heli kit has gone up something crazy.
