I think that I'll stick to Yamada engines but I'll pick up the YS91SR-RR this time and I'll also switch to 690mm blades instead of 710mm ones... no.2 will also get 8717s instead of BLS351s... hmmmm... :rolleyes:

Hi, I'm interested in your choice of gear what was wrong with the 710's, I've been thinking about them for mine when they arrive is Australia later this month, I'll be using 8717's all round and a 8900G on the TR, any thoughts?

According to most of top 3D pilots, those ones are the best... I haven't tried them yet but they're faster and can easily handle 2s voltage (around 8v)...
690 blades are supposed to put less load on the engine in comparison to 710 ones, that said you'll auto with less "ease" with 690s
I'll have both no.1 will be less extreme than no.2 :rolleyes:
That said no.1 is already a really bas ass :clap: (just like a bee on steroids)

Excellent info- I'll probably run with 690's in the beginning see how she goes, I've got an OS91SXH C-Spec engine for mine, should be interesting, mind you this is all pie in the sky stuff really the heli- doesn't exist in Aussie yet................:rolleyes:

Ended up going with 4x8717's, DS760, BLS251, AR7100R CY Radix 710, 105 TR's, Super Stubz..:cool:
Ready to rock and roll, just need the chopper :(

Sweet set up thats what I have. it rocks best heli yet I have a few...
