walkera 4#3 spektrum rx?

hey has anyone tried converting a 72mhz walkera 4#3 to spektrum gear? i guess ud need gyro and all but has anyone tried and succeeded with not spending a fortune

the best i've seen is to gut the heli, and add all your own electronice (rx, gyro, esc's, etc.). I've seen no cheap way to do it. I guess a guy could use a 4in1 from another heli that is already spectrum capable.

yeah a complete overhaul is what i think would be needed idn if it would be worth it in the end. It would make a kick but heli tho

I have a little 4#3b, and think its great! It's my 1st single rotor heli, so she has had a few crashes, but I have not broken anything yet - knock on wood!!

4#3 is KING, tough as nails (because it is so small and light). I even crashed mine into my dog's water dish once. Let er dry out, and it still flew no problem!!!
