I am switching over to a 9S A123 pack in my logo10 to replace the 8S TP 4200 I used to run. The A123's don't fit side by side in the frame (plastic).
Have any of you found a slick way to mount 9 A123's in a logo10?

One guy at my field flies a 600 size mikdado (could be the logo 10, not really sure) He uses 12s a123s (two 6s in series) and mounts 1 pack underneath and another one velcro'd to it about 2/3 the way down that extends towards to the front of the heli for proper balance.

Kinda like this (the proportions aren't correct but you get the idea).

--------(__)(__)(__)
(__)(__)(__)----------

(i had to put dashes in their otherwise the spaces were wouldnt show up. (__)(__)(__) = 6sa123)

Not sure what modifications he did if any.

If it was a 600mm blade heli then it was a Logo 14 or a Logo 600. Could also be a Logo 20 with shorter blades.....Ron

The Logo 10 is one of the easiest models there is to use A123s in. If you extent the battery tray forward, then a 10s A123 pack sits on it quite happily in the same cell configuration used in the Dewalt tool packs. The photo shows my old carbon L10, but I have extended the plastic framed versions using a strip of 4mm plywood screwed to the battery tray at the front.

If you've been using 8s lipos, I think you'll find a 10s A123 is a better replacement than 9s.
