Its getting real cold here, and so far I've been keeping all my lipos in the garage in an old ammunition can. However, I'm concerned about the dropping temperatures affecting my batteries and it got me wondering where everyone else is keeping theirs?....
Lets hear about how you store your lipos over the winter....

cold garage is a good thing. lipos will last langer stored cold. You dont want to turn around a fly a too cold pack but as far a storage cold is good.

I use the larger size (got a lot of batteries ) thermal electric cooler from Colman. Not only does it seal up air tight & cool but by reversing the polarity on the plug it heats as well. It stays pretty cool in my storage area but a few hours before I go fly I plug it in on heat (which only gets about 20 deg. above ambient) & when I go out there nice & warm for use.
Been doing that for a couple 3 years now & it works great.

I store my 6s packs in the gas barbeque on my patio. Lipo fires are very smokey and storing them inside in any container is foolish.
