Hi! I mostly fly planes, but am just now getting into helis. I have a little Co-axial heli but will soon be moving up to a T-Rex 450. I am also going to be moving up from my 7C to a 10C soon, so I was just wondering if any of you helo pilots have a 10C and could tell me how well it works with helis?

Thanks!

Hi Edge,

My experience has been a positive one, with the only complaint been that the radio is a little too big for my liking. It sure will feel much bigger compared to the 7c. This is an opinion of course, since the problem is my hands been fat and short.

As far as the programming is very easy, very similar to the 9c. I have not use the 7c so I cannot compare the response in cyclic using the 2.4GHz feels faster than the 9c but you need fast servos (Jr 8900, 8717, Fut 91xx,92xx) to notice the difference, on standard servos it feels the same speed.

You will be happy with all the features and customization capabilities.

I got my 10c when the first batch came out. I had three helis on my old DX7 and was dreading reprogramming all three onto the 10c. Well, long story short, it was a BREEZE. I love the way the 10c programming is set up and had all three ready to go in less than hour and that included a few breaks

after flying the 10c on my trex600n I can't believe how much faster it is compared to the 9c
it actually makes me seem like a better pilot than I am , it defiantly woke up the potential in the 9252's I'm running for cyclic :D

So far my 10c has been used in a T-rex 450, I am now going to test it in an Extra 300, let’s see how the receiver handles the vibrations and farther ranges. so far I like it.

I have my 10C for just over one year now. I am extremely glad I got this TX. When I try to help friends with DX7's I'm confused because I can't ever easily find what I'm looking for. Get the 10C and you too will love it.

who has the lowest price on the 10 cg?

I haven't really looked into the pricing on the Futaba radios, but I know that Tower Hobbies often has coupons that will save you a few bucks depending on how much you spend.

You can move model from your 9c to the 10c, but the 10c must load and convert it for use. One word of caution, please check each model moved to sure every mix is still on. Still a great feature. I bought 256k module from Hansen Hobbies.
