Well, my Pantera is nearing completion.
I got a chance to install my cyclic servos this weekend and do some baseline programming on the radio. My 401/9254 is on the way, and I got my battery/regulator (Fromeco 2600 w/ Deans plug and Arizona regulator) yesterday, along with my throttle and (in the future) mixture servo too.
One of our Pantera buddies from RunRyder is sending me a set of 1mm shims so I can mount my blades (I have a set of Audacity woodies, and they are 12mm root, the Pantera needs 14 mm root blades). Once I get them on, I'll work on the rest of the radio set up and pitch curves etc...
Oh yeah, I got a Revolution base loaded antenna for it, and mounted it using one of the antenna tube mounts on the skids. It doesnt point straight forward, but that is okay. I can work up an angled spacer later that straghtens that out. Makes no difference, other than aesthetics.
If I can ever remember to take my camera to my workshop, I'll get pics to post. :blockhead:
I'll be out of town for Labor Day weekend (going to STL to vist), so no work will get done. I don't like to rush things anyway. I have a Wild Hare Edge 540T that took me 4 years to get in the air...and it's an ARF!!!
