B400 battery options

What options are available out there for the B400. LIPO is starting to look like a pain to me. What about a123 batteries? Any other options?

Are you having specific problems with lipos? Although A123 is cheaper in the long run, they are heavier and thus harder on the equipment (motor, ESC, bearings, etc...) You'd probably be looking at a 3S A123 and a new motor with a 20-25% higher kv rating.

LIPO maintenance looks to be such a time consuming pain in the arse. Any suggestions on how to keep the cells happy and not consume my whole life? They also seem to have an actual or potentially limited and expensive live.
