The Maryland Helicopter Association Fun Fly is June 4-6 this year. This is our 20th year hosting this even, please help us make it the biggest and best ever!
Free T-shirts to the first 125 registered pilots!
In the spirit of the MHA club motto "We hate to see you crash, but we hate to miss your crash" we will give one free burger or sausage sub to anyone who crashes. (limit of 10 burgers per registered pilot)
The event is a three day event. Show up Thursday night and be ready to fly Friday morning. Campers can set up Wednesday evening. We have some of the best Fun Fly food, with food being served all three days.
There are thousands of acres of open tent space and camping on site. There is a dedicated novice/hover area.
Paula's famous barbecue Saturday night!
The Beast from the East, Bobby Watts and White Chocolate will be hosting a newer improved version of the 450. The fire department is on call.
Saturday evening will have the crop cutting contest again. Not sure if it will be soy beans or corn this year!
We will have night flying Saturday night (and Sunday morning...) at the club field. May the best heli win and nobody crash...
The flight line will only be closed to land full scale aircraft. Contests, events, and demos will not shut the flight line down.
We will have block reservations listed on the web site that will be held until May 6. Unless you like camping under the stars, make your reservations early.
Further details and directions are at www.flymha.com
GPS Coordinates from Google Earth GPS: 38°45'5.16"N 76°42'35.73"W or 38.753079 N,-76.709118 W
Thank you to everyone who has supported this event over the past years, lets make this one the best ever!
