Hey people,

How ya'll doin'? I'm desperately looking out for some help here.
I have a Blade CP pro that came with its standard 72Mhz TX. I am aware of its built in 3 in 1 unit but this is question.

I have a GY240 that i could use with this chopper..and it was no worries installing that. Now i would like to use my X9303 2.4 with its reciever to this heli. I need to use this for the following reasons:

a) I fly Mode1 but the Tx that comes in the package is Mode2
b) I have this TX. (Nothing else would suffice, as its a beautiful radio by itself.)

Please somebody help me with this. Please, Please and again Please.
(Oh yeah; this is kinda like one of those 9-1-1 emergency distress calls!!)

Thankyou somuch in advance

If I understand you correctly youll need to get a speed control for the main motor and one for the tail motor.

I have My CP PRO on my DX6i. All you do is remove the fm reciver that is sticky taped to the 3 in 1. Put your reviver in its place connect your servos to it and bind the reciver to your TX and you should be good to go. For the Gy240 gyro not too sure never used one but I had a G90 and you use the rudder channel wire and plug that into the gyro and plug the gyro lead into the rudder channel on the reciver. The other wire from the gyro pluged into the gear channel on the reciver so you can set the heading hold from the radio. Like i said not sure about the G240 never seen one and not sure what radio you have but hope this helps some to get you started.

I have been doing alot of reading about putting a gyro in my CPP and as far as I can tell as long as it isnt made to run a real fast digital servo or has a switch like the E-Flight g90 you can still use the 3in1 just make sure it isnt set for the fast digital servo. Hope this makes sense and helps

No you don't... just turn the proportional mixing all the way down to zero and let the gyro work it. The receiver is the problem here - I'm not sure if the X9303 is compatible with Spektrum receivers. You may have to replace the receiver... but it's all 'possible'

With 0 proprotional mixing, i get tail drift from the beginning to the end of the battery. Never once holds. 50% proportional I get 0 drift from beginning to the end of the battery.

Measure and Mix to your own tastes, it seems to be the theme of the CP Pro.

Gain set to 0 is required tho.. (the pot on the 3-in-1)

Strange... it worked nicely on mine... I'm using the G110 from my Blade 400 though.

There are some weird replies here.
The way I understand it you have a 9303 with receiver that you want to use on CP PRO. No problem. As long as it is real CP PRO with 3in1 just remove the 72 rx that is taped to the speed control and substitute your rx.
Do the curves from the manual, setup your servo direction and check your pitch setting and of you go.
I did this with my DX7 in half hour.
By the way the 9303 2.4 gig is fully compatible with any spectrum receiver, spectrum was developed from JR radio originally.

I am using 110 eflite and it hold great , both with standard tail and DD, trick is 0% proportional but at least 30% gain ( up to 50% ) not 0 gain and then adjust the gyro gain up until tale wags.

Some people set gyro gain to 100% and use the speed control gain for final adjustment. Either seems to work but this setting is only goo for e-flite or telebee , not sure for other gyros.

I just red my reply and I missed a word, when I said at least 30% gain that referred to gyro gain on the speed controller, just to be clear
