? about pull start on heli

Can I use a pull starter on OS 50 hyper I have went threw 2 hanger 9 starters in the last 2 months 1 was used the other new on a brand new Torgmaster L battery would rather have a pull starter can this be done Thanks in advance Rick

I have ground up my share of starters. The lipo's I think are what does them in. I'm sure you could retro fit a pull starter on the hyper but if you really want to pull start your helo's go GAS! Love mine and the fly for 40 minutes on a tank of fuel.. The high torque Sullivan that can take 24volts it the only starter I have that can take the abuse. Its was the second starter I ever paid for and its a little heavy but it keeps on rippin. You have to be careful with it cuz if you hydro lock your motor say goodbye to it cuz the torque just tears up motor internals. Ask me how I know?? Dooooooh!
