I just picked one up yesterday. I flew it around in the living room and it looks like it is going to be a blast when I get it outside. We are just about to start the indoor season in another month and a half up here and this thing is just the ticket for some cold weather fun.

Great little heli. Never flew a heli before, but it was not long before I could hover in a 4x4 foot space. Then shortly after, flying around a small room. It takes a beating as well, the suggestion of shutting off the throttle if your going to crash seems to really help in lessening the damage (none so far). Great for those cold and windy days.

may have to put this on the xmas list. is there a way to convert it to FASST? I really dont feel like having another tx laying around.

If you find a way to convert it to Fasst let me know. I broke down and got the RTF package but like you I hate the idea of having another transmitter and a cheap one with not many features to boot. I did not want to get the module for my 10C because I don't want to have a bunch of different receivers hanging around either. I am thinking I can use the cheapo transmitter for a Vapor or the new Mustang that is coming out if I care to go that way. No matter what I don't regret the purchase, this little thing is a blast to fly. I just picked up some 150mah batteries and they are great. I now get at least 8 min of FFF so I'm lovin life.

Flew mine last night (calm and light snow), it was a blast. I kept it fairly close (no more than 15 feet away or high) and used the blue light in the canopy as a guide (when it went beyound the security light).

Calm and light snow? I can see that being alot of fun:clap:

It was great. The flakes were very small, but neat hovering there while the flakes fell. It was neat to fly out of the security light area and see this blue light in the sky. Just need to add another colored light to the tail so that one can pick out the direction is is facing when turned sideways to you. Other than that, the brighter the blue light then it is comeing towards you. Should look into the glow accessories.

i finally broke down and bought an MSR! i LOVE IT! this thing is awesome for such a small lightweight
heli. I did have some problems after the first couple of flights though... turns out the 4 in 1 unit was
bad. I sent it to horizon and they sent me a new control unit and a new main motor in less than a week!
thats just one of the many reasons why i love horizon:D
I also found a neet little aluminum case at Best Buy that is used for holding blue-ray disks.
i made little cut outs in a piece of foam to hold all of my micro helicopter stuff:D

Nice case. I was thinking of getting a case that will fit both my DX6i and my MSR.

I picked up a case at Harbor frieght for about 25bucks, a black aluminum one, i carry my MSR, 9303, the charger, my Trex250 4 Batteries for it and all the spares in it, i take it to work everyday in hopes that I get a lunch hour figure if its nice out Ill buzz the 250 around outside and if not i can fly the MSR inside. I will try to post picts of it

Got me one yesterday as a surprise from my wife for my birthday. 8 110mAh packs through it and I'm having fun with it and can't stop.
