Cheers George
Looks good for another sunny Sunday here, must be just lucky.
Does every pilot here have any of those easy to fly helicopter with those contra rotating blades or is everybody got the 2 bladed real ones ?
Those two bladed one aren't treated with contempt or are they o.k. with the real heli pilots ?

Okay, I can fly the Picco-Z, but that's about it. I also own a Shogun, but haven't flown it yet. Like, for the year since it's been built. I also have a FP heli m- the one that comes in the cool aluminum carrying case. I live at 6,000 feet above sea level.

I also do not own a heli yet. But I soon will.
I flew one once a while back (not mine), and it seemed too hard to fly... so I stuck with planes. But now I am ready to buy my first heli once I save up some more money.

I had a little wasp heli but could never stop it rotating. Also didn't seem to have and left or right stick control. Maybe its me . Had a look on YouTube at the Picco-Z and was impressed. I try one of those soon.

Yup, I guess that I do enjoy flying rotary wing aircraft.
Perhaps I shouldn't mention this, but I have a wenis. Most people have one. Or two.
I still cannot believe I won the contest! Now, if the webmaster would only notify me ...

Hey everybody, glad to be a part of this new site. I hope I win the transmitter. I never win anything, but I figured I can't win if I don't try!!! I just started flying heli's this summer. I spent 5 to 6 months on the sim this winter and it really helped. Here is a short video of me flying my Trex.

Hi all,
I'm new here.
I am a newbie heli pilot trying to learn to hover.
I have 2 helis, a Blade 400 and a T-Rex 500. I'm using a DX6i Tx for both helis and have a copy of Clearview to practice on.
Cheers,
Minskie :)

Perpetual heli newb here...
I have had:
Kalt Baron 20 (appx 1984)
GMP Cricket (2001)
Century Hawk Sport (2004 to May 2008... SOLD in RTF condition!)
ESky Honeybee CP2 (2005 to current)
ESky Honeybee FP (2005 to ? have half of it still)
ESky LLama (coax.. 2006)
Radio Shack Micro Mosuito (Christmass 2007 to June 2008)
I actually learned to hover the Hawk... and got the LLama into decent forward flight. I tended to bounce the mosquito off the walls and cieling.
Still have the remains of the Honeybee FP and the flyable CP2... but all I can do with the thing is hover and move it around very slowly. I go into FF and its a guarantee that I crash trying to land it. No issues with nose-in or sideways hover...
:p I helped teach a guy to fly his Raptor in 2004... and he was doing 3D within 6 months, while I still could barely hover the Hawk when I finally sold it. He asked me for pointers on how to fly a maneuver just a couple of months ago.
