I have a Hirobo Vertol ], it's powerd by an OS-37. My current project for his one is converting it to 120 Degree Eccpm
I have an electronic 120 deg. Mixer so I just need to replace the upper mainshaft bearing blocks and swashplates.
I don't have a clue what i'm going to do withall that room where the servos used to mount.

Ok guys;
I'll post some pics this weekend, Sheesh man I barely know how to post a thread.
It's good to know there are people interested in these old dogs. The original Vertol was intended to use an OS-32 is this the best choice?

I particularly like the "Black anomized aluminum flame" (pronounced just how it's spelled). ;)

So is anyone flying any tandems in forward flight? I've only seen them hover, and I'm wondering if the mixing just isn't there for forward flight. They probably sound great. I think an electric would be very cool.

I almost bought a Chinook of Hirobos, its the more recent model with the 50 size motor and electronic mixing.

They have always interested me.

Some guys in Holland built a large model of the Chinook, I have a picture somewhere. It was powered by large petrol engine, about 60cc possibly.
