It's only natural that one form of R/C will lead into another. My Wife and I run a couple of T-Maxx's whenever we get the chance!

FUN...
Off road got me started in RC when I was 14.
In fact my first ever driving "alone" expierence in a real car was going to an off road race.
I was 15 (almost 16) and had my early learners permit, the one where you need to have someone in the car with you that has a valid drivers license. Well I paid my 16 year old neighbor $10 to go with me. He wasn't excited about getting up at 6am, but I was.
Ahhh thouse were the days.
I need to get another 1/8 scale buggy.
Back in the day it was racing FROG's and then when you were good enough you bought the RC10 big 30 lb gold chassie...
AHHH yea.. memories!

Sleepy, you are really showing your age. I currently have a MGT 8.0. My 5 year old and 1 year old love watching me drive it. The 5 year old gets to steer quite a bit while I control the throttle.

CSpaced looks like you have a nice bashing spot there. I used to have a couple Tmaxxes but couldnt seem to find a good bashing spot that I didnt get run off from. Im sticking to the track now, racing an 1/8 buggy.

That looks like fun! My wife wants me to get a couple boats to run around in the pool. Looking into a couple rtr inexpensive ones. These look cool.. (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMPG3**&P=0)

The reef racers are suppost to be good, but I would suggest staying away from the zig zag racers. I bought one for my son for the pool and it is a crappy design. The hull takes on water and the hatch is sealed with some kind of sealant that keeps water in but not out. Ive been through 3 of the radio boards so far with not much luck keeping the water out. It is fast when they work though. I bought the Aquacraft Mini Rio for my self, seems to be a good little boat but it does not plane off fast enough to work in a pool ( atleast any thing smaller than olympic sized )
CSpaced I used to have a bashing spot similar to that but houses took that over too.:(

I keep trying to persuade the guys at the field to some so we can race around after we're done flying :D

OMG! that raptor was owned!
You know I thought that ramp was a little low. I'm surprised the pilot was standing so close in light of what he knew was going to happen. We all know how far parts can be slung

I raced for years in CT. Nitro and electrics. Moved to NY and sold them all. Took to the sky. I miss racing in CT. Nothing local here in NY. I do have a flying club less than 10 minutes from home!

Ive got a losi LST2 it hammers, good fun but not as good as helis only comes out some times,I also have a 1/10 electric car with drift tyres on it that great fun and bloody hard to get to drift around where you want it.The losi is good when we go out to the field in the afternoons and chase the kangaroos off the landing strip ( Im sure some of the roos dont know weather to attack it or run away )

Heck yea! I'm working on building another track here at my house, had one a couple years ago but let it go. Austin is going to get his first gas truck for his birthday this Nov.

That would be awesome to see some pics of R/C cars chasing kangaroos!!!!!
But if you think about it, how else would you scare them off.... They'll kick you if go up to them.
I have a DuraTrax 1/8 scale 4 wheel drive Axis buggy with a .21 engine. I almost never use it though :(
