Are yo serious, after only 2 weeks? Were you flying the sim before that?

Yes, I started flying on the sim a month before I got the 450. Thank you, guys.

Thank you. I think it's valid to note that I've been flying planes for 3 years.

That helps :)
Yeah, a friend told me it makes him feel better.:D LOL
I fly 3D planes, but I got bored with them. I am really loving the noobie feeling all over again with helis. Fear of crashing, brain/thumbs (fingers in my case) lock when flying the real thing, excitement of learning a new maneuver. Awesome!!:) Dang...now, I wanna go fly!!

That's funny, I wonder how many heli pilots decided to try their hand at planks? (I'm one of them!)

Here's a couple of videos of me flying my Yak-55 Profile. Plus, another video a friend shot on the following weekend. It was my 3rd week with the 450. You'll see that I was learning tail in hurricanes. Today, I went to the field and I nailed them. It's my favorite maneuver because I just love the sound the rotor makes and it goes by. I started doing simple piro flips with a pause in the middle. By simple I mean with one piro. Also, started to do funnels and I did a sloppy figure 8 funnel with tail down. I am very happy with my progress. It's too bad we didn't have a camera at the field today.

The 450 video my friend posted on vimeo. It's well worth it to watch him flying his 700 (I shot that one before he decided to shoot mine).:)

Impressive!! I think plankers make good heli pilots once they learn to use that collective/rudder stick! That was the hardest part for me, anyways.
Again...very impressive flying!! :D

Very nice flying !!
I started almost 2 years ago now but, mainly flying inside with a coax and an Axe CP, able to fly around outside too. Got a Trex 450 last December and flew inside during winter (mainly hover). I was practicing on G4 hoping for good results for when I would be able to fly outside.
To my surprise, I was able to do everything I learned on the sim without problems. Starting 3D now :D
Looking forward to learn it all with your help.
I'm also starting plank, did my wings with 2 flights at my club :p

I can't get over the fear to try any 3D stuff. I'm perfect on foward flight, but to nervous to try it. It would help if there where some heli pilots at my air field. Also do any of you guys know of where I can get the setup for my heli to put in my new x9303 radio. I sold my DX7 and lost my configuration. I'm running a futaba 401 gyro and hitec HS65 servos except for the tail, which has a hi-tourqe futaba.
