Thinking of a (semi)scale build for a 400-450 sized heli and will probably go with a FG fuselage to ease battery access, but want something different from the Jet Ranger, Airwolf, A109/119 and 500 varieties out there.
I came across these during a search lately and have never seen them mentioned before. Anybody heard of or seen one yet?

Black shark have been around for a wile and are used in F3C Competitions.
I just seen a Black hobbies fuse go for $800 on another form.
You can get nock offs of the original for fare less. I looked at one a wile back for my R60
That was only $112. unpainted and they are pretty cool looking, I’m still thinking of getting one my self.
I mite even go with the painted one for a little more $$.
Here a few pic of some Black Sharks

I bet my TRex 450 would be real slick in that setup - looks awesome.

I'd been waiting on my tax return to order from Ark (heard a bit of negative feedback on Modellbau), and I found an older model (looks like it's set up for the 90° swash) on Sleazebay and nabbed it for $69 shipped. New in the box, already painted yellow (my color of choice for a base coat) and a weight of 173gm - much less than I'd expected due to the body style.
I've a Blade 400, and it looks like a nearly perfect fit, though I may need to trim just a bit for rod clearance but not nearly as bad as if I tried a T-rex. The Blade 400 swash is mounted 180° out from norm (anti-rotation mounted in the front) so it will come real close to the existing clearance cuts.
I'll have to do a test fit when I do a strip, check and rebuild on the B400 that I'd planned soon and will probably end up getting another B400 airframe for this one. Very narrow overlap for the canopy and I'm still trying to decide on adding magnet tabs or just drilling and using standard canopy mounting with grommets.
Let the fun, and the wallet thinning, begin!
