One of my local clubs is putting on a Helicopter Only Event

This is our first year with the event BUT we have "soft" commitments from Alan Szabo, Danny Szabo, Marcus Kim, Bobby Watts, and Curtis Youngblood, Scott Gray, Jarod Granzow and quite a few more I cant remember right now. Yeah... we know people :D

In addition to the usual Fun Fly events, we also will be hosting an F3C event complete with all the AMA Classes and FAI. We also will be hosting some things you haven’t seen like Fly In Movies on the 25’ Outdoor Screen, weatherproof sound system and more. We are even planning on having educational breakout sessions as well. So this event will me much, much more than the usual Fun Fly.

Since the event is going to be fairly HUGE, we will he having two flight lines to allow for maximum airtime and allow both the Fun Fly and contest to happen simultaneously.

The field is located just outside Fredericksburg, VA about 2 miles off I-95 on a 300 acre farm. So there will be plenty of room for on-site camping.

So be sure to mark your calendars for October 3-5, 2008 and plan on being there.

You can camp on site as well. I'm sure there will be tents, campers and RVs there.

Well I just got off the phone and I am pleased to announce that we have just confirmed two of the hottest pilots in the USA will be at the event...

Combine these guys with Curtis Youngblood and Marcus Kim and we are going to have one AWESOME event!!!!

Also, we will be having some really cool educational events, too.... Who wouldn't want to Buddy Box with Nick Maxwell or Marcus Kim.... so pre-register now!!!
