Hi guys, I just thought I'd let you know that all of us at Great Planes (North/South America distributor for Futaba) are keeping an eye on this forum and will try to help you with any questions. Of course, we hope most questions will be answered by others on the forum, as that is what it is all about.

Regards,

Here's a newbie question: is there a way to use a Futaba 10-c (FASST) with a heli that comes with DSM2? Of course, I mean short of having to schlep arount two transmitters.

No sir/ma'am....Futabas FASST is far superior to DSM/2 and of course...not compatible. ;)

LoL....seriously? For one....it's $140. Two....it's 8 channel. You did read the post you quoted...right?

I'm hoping for a 4 channel RX..maybe with end pins. UNDER $50.

I agree with having a few cheaper receiver options. I would have liked the R616FFM with normal servo connector. i understand that this is meant to save weight, but I do not know of any servo except for like > 4g servo that use this molex connectors.
Maybe we should start a new thread for this.

What kind of range check distances are you guys getting with the 9Zs? I've been getting rediculously short range checks with ant. down (30 Feet) but no problems flying.

With the power-down mode you should be getting 30 meters, NOT just 30 feet!

Sumpthin's wrong for sure!

I think that question originated from a 72MHz user.

Oh, I guess I should have caught a clue about the check mode vs the antenna off.

Sorry, still, it sounded like poor results.
