I was having issues with the camera but here's one that has a little too much flash :D Canopy is Yellow/White and threw camera off I think...

Out of town this weekend but will have to update next week. As you can see it's modded as well

I think it is just "held" underneath the Batt tray...kinda like on the Rex. I"ve never done it...but I would assume that the main attachment points would be where it mounts already...??

When I mounted an Align canopy on my Blade, I removed the two screws that mnt. the anti rotation tower and installed a pair of Align canopy mnt. posts (in to the screw holes). It sits pretty snug and offers much more protection.

That's what I should have done in hind sight. I used trex500 canopy pins as there self tapping. Put them right into where the stocky canopy pin went through and rounded them near the base as they were too beefy and my HS65 arms were rubbin... Way to much work as I could of just put them in the rotation tower... Geniuses, and like always beind the power curve here :D

Don't feel bad, my shots were taken just after a rebuild and just BEFORE another crash. That's how it works I guess. I am just waiting on parts from Readyheli and I'll be back up!

Here they are, nothing special. HS65mg on cyclic, and a Align 35A speed control stock otherwise. I just wish I could fly this thing as good as the sim. On the sim I can hover inverted, do fast backwards flight, flips rolls. With the real thing I can hover tail in and make some ugly circles haha.

I got a laugh out of the third picture. It looks like you're flying it in the middle of rush-hour bumper-to-bumper traffic! :D The flash hitting the reflectors makes it look like the parking lights are on. Are you taking the pictures yourself while flying? :eek:

LOL:D My wife was taking the pictures. The trucks out front are kind of a hazzard. The Durango roof rack took off an aileron on one of my foamys ( Glad the wife wasnt filming that :Craven: )

One of my local traffic copters is a jet ranger with a zebra paint scheme. Ive thought about copying that one.

yes that is the copterx from ehirobo they have them for 50 bucks right now so i ordered another and you just have to use the stock swash and do some minor radio programing.

OK groovy... I got it all back together and I think I like these colors much better too. These are inkjet-printed graphics - scanned the old stickers and just changed the colors. I like the 'monochrome' look :)

hey guys nice heli's!
Im currently doing my homework on my future heli..
kinda up between a copterx/trex450, blade 400 or a belt cp..
I'm taking the step from direct drive tail to belt. (currently fly a walkera 22e)
looking for better control/stability.. and the ability to practice auto's - maybe a bit of light 3d someday..
any thoughts?

trex vs b400 vs belt cp. I vote blade but go with what you can get parts for at the LHS

400-size helis aren't great for autos, but the trex 450 and blade 400 I can vouch for. The trex is a little bit better overall though - so if you can get parts for it I would go with that. Set it up good to begin with though... don't skimp, and it will last a good long time.

lol I'm screwed as far as the hobby store is concerned..
we have one hobby store in town and I could buy a blade 400 from them.
they have helimax parts and thats about it.. they deal mostly with cars and planes.
they can order just about anything except knockoff chinese parts.
..but I can do that.. so I try to get what I can from them.. mainly just info on how things work.
I leaning heavily on a copterx450 or a blade 400 though I haven't ruled out a minititan 325.. I hear good things about them..
