I'd like to see how bent those blades are when he comes out of the loop; I bet they flex like crazy!

I had seen the red bull one but not the second one. If you edit the sound and put tthe sound of a turbine engine you will fool a lot of people. LOL

the RedBull chopper is awesome in person. What's probably even cooler is he flies the race course in the chopper before any of the race planes come through... awesome stuff.

Here's a collage of pics I made up from the pics I took at the RedBull event...
(also have pics of him flying the course, but have to dig 'em up)

Here's another I had around already, also hammed up in photoshop for the fun of it :)

...the same type of chopper is down on the course to film it all. From certain angles he really looks to be in the way (hence the photoshop fun)...

lol, have you read the ingredients on a RedBull can? Some of that stuff looks like it would make excellent fuel booster! There are reasons why its an energy drink.

wonder what blades they are running on the RB chopper.

and im thinking that RB would deffinatly give your nitro helis a boost :)

I'd like to see how bent those blades are when he comes out of the loop; I bet they flex like crazy!

One of my students a while back was a CH53 pilot, and he claimed that if you pushed on cyclic too hard, you could get the blades to flex enough to slap the canopy. That's got to get your attention!

They could sell tickets for rides in that, make a killing. They would have to have a prybar to get the seat to release after the flight though lol
