I don't think you can go far wrong with either the Raptor or the Sceadu. Personally I am a huge fan of the Sceadu, its an awesome flyer right out of the box with no mods, and parts are readily available and cheap.
yeah i was thinking about it the ccpm one or the vibe

Big price difference - $250 for the Sceadu Evo50, or $580 for the Vibe...
Don't let the price of the Sceadu scare you off, it is one rock solid 3D monster.
well its gonna be awhile till i get one ,income tax check .

check with your LHS to see what heli parts they carry. This will help with repairs, from what I've seen most LHS's carry Raptor parts. I have flown a raptor 50 for the last 2 and a half years. Its seen allot of new parts in its days. The average cash was about 150 to 200. (i only ran CF blades) I just upgraded to the Vibe 50 so I can't really comment on it yet. I think the raptor 50 is a awesome beginner heli. Hope this helps a little.

the hobby shops around my area are to expensive ,and dont have the parts i need anyway they have to order them , so i do all my shoping online , but thanks let me know how that vibe flys

Bang for your buck is the Rappy. That being said I have heard rumors on the Ely-Q.It will be the cheapest 50 on the planet. They seem to hold up to some serious abuse. The only problems I have witnessed with them is pilot abuse and pilot miss judging where mother earth is located. For the time being go Rappy.

i was looking at the t-rex 600 sport for price and availablity at the lhs. raptors and t-rex's i'd have to say are the most popular.

Also keep in mind parts availability. If you can pick what you want from your LHS that stocks the parts for it. If you don't have a LHS that stocks helis, then go with the sceadu or the align 600n. By far Align has the best prices going/quality/support. Seems like every pilot has some type of align product in their fleet.

It depends where you're at. Apart from price, you've to take a good look at parts availability. I personally inspect a shop's stocks & interview the shop owner before buying anything.
Where I'm at, TT Raptors aren't even a viable option. Hirobo is a good brand, but its prices locally are high. But one thing's for sure about these machines - they last. Some old timers here still have Shuttles from the 80's & they're still flying.
Align is invading nearly every country. So parts availability for that should be very good. Online... well, nearly everyone carries it.
Compass Models has come up with a great heli - the Knight3D. It comes in several versions: G10 & CF. Where I'm at, its the cheapest heli in town - with the best value for money. It is fast! I've sold all my other 50's and she's the only nitro ship I've chosen to keep.

The Vibes kit price is up there but the parts cost is only a small percenatge higher than the Rappy or Align. For me its still the Rappy but the VIBE is calling my name. "Must resist the voices in my head"

Think a little more about the Pantera. The tail grip problems are not that big of a deal, especially if you are fairly new, you won't be stick banging and stressing the tail. If you are worried about the tail, check out the thread on RR about the tail issues and the upgrade.
As for parts availability, John Beech is very fast about getting parts out, and if your LHS is a good shop, they will have no problem contacting Audacity to become a dealer/supplier for parts.
Check the Pantera out again.

I have a Sceadu 30 and must say that its a lovely heli, good qaulity, good instruction/parts manual and flies well.
I hardly use it at the moment as my gasser is the main heli for me.
Align make some nice gear, a work mate has just got a Trex 700 and it is just a quality machine. Its not flying yet as it has yet to be built.
If it helps: the average crash costs are roughly a third the cost of the airframe. Thats my rule of thumb when thinking of buying any heli.

IMO raptors would have to be up there as being the cheapest, recently I crashed and on first inspection at the field I thought it was gunna be a right off, mainshaft bearing holders and boom mounts in frame were totally broken out boom was buggered tailcase destroyed, but at home was shocked to see prices of frames etc man if that damage on my trex i would have been up for hundreds of dollars extra.

There is nothing wrong with Century Heli's.
I have 7 of them in my shop.
I have flown choppers since 1986 and consider the Century line the best bang for your buck. The NX, Raven, etc.

i looking for a 50 size nitro heli . like a rapter hirobo , vibe , pantera i like the pantera but i heard to many bad things about them like the tail
That's funny. I've really started to bang on my Pantera pretty hard this year and really haven't run into many issues. I did manage to crack a one-way but it had been through many crashes where the blades stuck the boom and or ground before it went. It's very tough frames have saved more than a few engines, servos, etc. in the inevitable crash that would rekit a carbon framed heli.
That Hirobo SDX sure is one nice helicopter, too. Altough the kit price is a little higher....Many people have had success with all the helis that you have mentioned so get the one that YOU are most excited about.

Hirobo is a beautiful heli and the HPM or SDX are cheap enough to fix as long as you stay stock, Hirobo upgrades are way expensive! Parts is always a major concern especially if you have only one bird, thats why I suggest a TRex 600N, or a Raptor 50, any decent LHS will carry parts for one or the other. I have a 600 sport, I think I paid $365 new for it, it has been the sturdiest most dependable heli I have had, and its three years old. For stability of flight the Hirobo has been the best with the Raptor coming in a close second. I have owned an flown 38 different helis.
